Minutes of 11-15-16 read/approved.
Treasurers Report: Bank balance as of 2-5-17 $76,877.48. Echeck payments since last meeting were for FPL, OC Landscaping, Stevens & Goldwin, Bruening Ins. Miami Christmas Lights & Perfect Landscaping. $165 payments are collected except for Three. Second notices were sent 2-5-17 to those three. Bank statements from January 2016 – January 2017 are here to review or question. Total 2016 bills paid $23,956.52. 2017 dues paid $25,080.00 with three late fees of $75.00. Six estoppels at $150.00 for a total of $900.00. Grand total $26,055.00. $2,098.48 was a gain to 2017. The report was approved as read.
Communications: Contract for Christmas Lights, USPS payment for Post Office Box for 2017, Bruening insurance binder for NPMA insurance and FL Dept of State receipt for NPMA officers and Law Firm listing for 2017.

New Business: Gary Nicholson reported on three proposals to up grade our entrance monuments. Held over to be discussed by the new board at future meeting.
Officers Report: Michael Ingenio stated he didn’t want to be reappointed as his term as vice president was up at this meeting. He thanked all for the time he was on the board. Scott Fitzpatrick thanked Mike for his service as an officer and spoke on the pending changes to the officers in upcoming meetings. Paul Cyman explained Quorum requirements and future changes to the existing officers.
Vice President Election: Eleven proxies were received combined with those in attendance did not meet the 53 min required to hold a contested election. Discussion on appointing to fill the vacancy took place. All three officers voted to approve Gary Nicholson to serve as Vice President.
Discussion concerning replacing the President and Secretary/Treasurer with appointees at future meeting took place. May 9th meeting will open action to be taken.
Q & A: Discussion on ducks being fed illegally, foreclosure home on 149th Terr. met with approval of surrounding homeowners as to renovation work going on.
Officer Terms: President agreed to serve at the 2-16 meeting as no election was held. Term expires 2-19. Vice President no election held 2-17. Gary Nicholson appointed to serve. Term expires 2-20. Secretary/Treasurer agreed to serve at the 2-15 meeting as no election was held. Term expires 2-18.
Meetings for 2017 are as follows: May 9th, September 12th and November 14th.
