First Order of Business: Secretary/Treasurer Election
John Michael Broussard asked not to be elected or appointed to a new term. His appointed term expired as of 2-6-18. Eight proxies and homeowners in attendance totaled 18 so there was no quorum to hold a contested election, which requires 53. With no election the board appointed with full approval, Scott Fitzpatrick, as Secretary/Treasurer effective 2/6/18.

Reading of 11-14-17 NPMA Minutes: Were read and call for corrections or omissions found none. Minutes will stand as read.
Treasurer’s Report: Bank balance as of 2-6-18 was: $73,533.19. E-checks went to FPL, O C Landscaping, Kaye & Bender, Stevens & Goldwyn, SunBiz, R. Gomez (clean/paint entrance monuments), JM Lighting, Office Max, E. Rosas (electrical for Holiday lights), USPS. Bills and 12 monthly bank statements are here for examination and questioning.
Total of 2017 Bank Checks was read showing $25,985.99 spent.
Read proposed 2018 Budget showing $25,247.00. Total expected income $26,025.00.

Old Business: Read Minutes for 1-22-18 NPMA covering 84 South filing of legal action to address their responsibility for maintenance plus authorize Kaye/Bender to prepare necessary documents to undertake this preservation. Flat fee of $1200 will cover all.
New Business: Explained, with some details, the 84 South, Kaye/Bender communications, which should be resolved by our 5-8-18 meeting.
Officers Report: P. Cyman gave details on our 1120H IRS tax Form, having it done by H&R Block already for $150 instead of $500 as in past years. Read homeowner thank you note from Nancy & Bill Mahoney. Also reported on a 2 hour course taken on 1-16-18 and completed (Homeowners Association Board Member Education Curriculum). Reported on status of 2018 fee collection.
